The Museums for All admission includes access to the Garden’s 38 acres of garden space, including the Family Adventure Garden with 15 fun spaces that encourage unstructured play and exploration. Guests enjoy colorful floral displays, true-to-Texas native areas, and futuristic glass pyramids filled with exotic plants from around the world. As a living plant museum, the Garden is dedicated to the collection, cultivation, preservation, and display of a wide range of plants.

Q: What is Museums for All?
A: Museums for All is a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM). More than 480 museums (including art museums, children’s museums, science centers, botanical gardens, zoos, history museums, and more) across the country offer a reduced admission fee of $3 or less with the presentation of the SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. -
Q: How does Museums for All work?
A: Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can enter the Garden with a reduced admission fee of $3 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP EBT card. -
Q: What do I need to get the Museums for All admission rate?
A: You will need to present your SNAP EBT card along with a valid ID at the time of admission. -
Q: Do I need to register for anything?
A: No. Guests do not need to register for anything. You can just go to a participating museum, show your SNAP EBT card and a photo ID, and you will receive the Museums for All admission rate. You can go back as many times as you wish—there’s no limit. -
Q: Do I pay with my SNAP EBT card?
A: No, your SNAP EBT card is only for identification purposes, showing that you meet the criteria. Any admission costs must be paid for with alternate methods (cash, credit cards, etc.). -
Q: I have one SNAP EBT card. How many people can get the Museums for All rate with the card?
A: Each SNAP EBT card allows up to four people to get the Museums for All admission rate. -
Q: Can I use WIC or something other than SNAP to get the Museums for All rate?
A: Yes, please present your WIC card along with a valid ID. -
Q: Can I use my SNAP EBT Card in another state?
A: Yes! Museums participating in Museums for All will accept SNAP EBT cards from any state. If you live in one state but want to visit a participating museum in a different state, you can! Visit Museums4All.org for a list of participating museums. -
Q: I want to become a Garden member. Do I qualify for a more affordable membership option?
