Junior Arborist Camp | Ages 9-11
(Week 2) June 16 – 20 | 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
(Week 5) July 14 – 18 | 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Calling all aspiring arborists! Campers will get to delve deeper into the science and wonder of trees through different activities such as learning how to create leaf ID sheets, investigating microorganisms in the forest ecosystem, and enjoying interactive hikes in our East Texas Piney Woods! By the end of the week, your child will gain a greater appreciation for the vital role trees play in our world! Participants will get to take home their own native Texas tree to plant at the end of the week.
Fee: $200 ($180 member)
