Ethnobotany of Chocolate and Carob

Appropriately named the ‘Food of the Gods,’ chocolate and its components have integrated themselves into almost every holiday, social practice, and even industries like cosmetics and health. In this lecture, you’ll learn all about (and taste) the plant, the history of chocolate, and also the legume that seeks to mimic it.

Fee: $15 ($13.50 member). Registration deadline is February 9 at 6 p.m.
