Zachary Ritchie, Conservation Manager, will discuss the unique ecological relationships found across the native plants of Bexar County. From the various ecoregions to animal life, learn how native Texas plant species play a role in sustaining the ecosystem by preventing soil erosion, retaining water, and preventing flooding. Admire how these plants are exceptionally adapted to our arid environment to conserve water and sustain animal life.
